Philips Avent encourages mothers to comeback their way with Sania Mirza; launches #AskAvent – a knowledge hub for breastfeeding mothers

Motherhood is one of the most sacred and revered roles that a woman can take on and the journey is even more incredible. However, it comes with its unique set of challenges that can often make it difficult for mothers to pursue their passions and careers. After having children, a lot of women experience immense pressure to bounce back quickly, which can be incredibly overwhelming and exhausting.

Keeping this at heart, Philips India today launches the #ComebackYourWay campaign, which shines a light on the struggles and triumphs of mothers everywhere. The powerful campaign, featuring the inspiring Sania Mirza, calls on society to support women as they make their comeback in their own way. It reiterates the incredible strength and resilience of mothers and encourages society to help them pursue their dreams while also being amazing moms.

#ComebackYourWay with Philips Avent

The #ComebackYourWay campaign by Philips India is a powerful reminder of the struggles and obstacles that mothers face when trying to make a comeback, whether it is in their careers, passions, or social lives. The campaign film features the inspiring icon, Sania Mirza, who is depicted playing a tennis match against societal factors that have acted as impediments to her comeback as a mother. Throughout the match, Sania’s voiceover addresses the questions and doubts that society has thrown her way. But she responds to each of them with confidence, highlighting the incredible strength and determination of mothers. The campaign’s visuals are woven with a powerful message that resonates deeply with anyone who has ever struggled to balance the role of a parent with their individual aspirations.

The film integrates the Philips Avent Breast Pump, which presents as a true companion for all mothers. The breast pump serves as a helping hand to mothers to stay connected with their babies even when they’re away for work, and to continue providing them with the nourishment they need while navigating the challenges of motherhood.

The #ComebackYourWay with Philips Avent campaign kickstarted when the ace tennis player took to her social media last week, asking her followers to pledge their support in helping mothers around them to make a comeback. The initiative hosted on comebackyourway.co.in received an astounding response with a staggering 10000+ pledges from people across the country that resonated with the sentiment.

Taking a hint from the overwhelming response received on the initiative, Philips Avent went a step further and has announced the launch of #AskAvent- a knowledge hub for all lactating and breastfeeding mothers. The platform will enable new mothers to get answers to their breastfeeding and lactation queries, read articles and blogs related to breastfeeding, as well as book one-on-one private consultations with lactation experts. This consultation session as well as all information on #AskAvent will be available free of charge to all mothers.

Overall, the #ComebackYourWay campaign is a celebration of motherhood and a reminder that mothers should be given the support and encouragement they need to pursue their dreams on their own terms. It’s an inspiring message that will surely resonate with anyone who has ever felt the pressure to bounce back quickly after having a child. With this campaign, Philips is making it clear that mothers are strong, capable, and deserving of our respect and admiration.

Commenting on the campaign Deepali Agarwal, Head, Personal Health, Philips Indian Subcontinent said, “At Philips India, our consistent focus is on bringing meaningful innovation to the disposal of all our consumers. As a mother, you are constantly balancing the need to give your baby the best and your desire for some self-care. We understand this and that’s why with Philips Avent, we want to partner with parents through this delicate balance. Our innovative products are designed to for best care for the baby, giving mothers the reassurance to choose their way of parenting. Being a working mother myself, this campaign is especially close to my heart, and we are delighted to have an iconic sportswoman as well as a mom, Sania Mirza, represent the campaign. Her determination and resilience have helped her achieve great success both on and off the court. We hope that this campaign will inspire more mothers to pursue their passion and enable them to make a strong comeback.”

Sania Mirza, who has been a vocal advocate for women’s rights and empowerment, is the perfect choice for the campaign. She has been very open about the challenges she has faced as a mother and a professional athlete. She says “As a mother and a sportsperson, I know firsthand the challenges that women face when trying to make a comeback. I am proud to be a part of this campaign, which celebrates the unwavering strength and resilience of mothers everywhere. It is a message to all women out there that they should not give up on their dreams and passions. With the right support, they can make a strong comeback to their pursuits, on their own terms.”

The campaign breaks out on the Instagram handle of Philips India and Philips Avent India along with the YouTube page of Philips India. It further extends to Sania Mirza’s Instagram page and Momspresso’s Instagram and Facebook handles.

This 19 years old Three-Star Wide Receiver Deserves Your Attention

There are always players that don’t end up getting the attention they rightfully deserve in both college and professional sports. Here we are hoping to change that regarding one player in particular, DeVante Perkins. Perkins is a name that, if you aren’t already familiar with, you certainly will be soon enough.

Perkins is a three-star wide receiver that grew up in Youngstown, Ohio. He started his football journey by attending Horizon Science Academy Elementary School. He started to get a taste for football and wound up wanting to make that dream become a reality by the time he reached high school. The high school he first attended was Cardinal Mooney. However, he only stuck around for one year before he wound up moving to Atlanta, Georgia. This was when he started to play for Stone Mountain High School. He was already getting some time on the gridiron and wanted to further his potential career even more. He transferred into a prep school that’s called Georgia Knights Prep Academy as a way to get more national attention from colleges from all over the country. It was at this point when the D1 offers and visits really started to pour in for him. As it currently stands right now, he’s got a handful of offers from known schools as well as some interests from bigger name colleges without a verified offer. The confirmed offers are from NC State, Tennessee State, Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns and the University of Colorado. The two additional schools that have shown interest are Vanderbilt University and the most important of all, University of Alabama.

Now look, you might not know him through football yet. You might not have ever heard of what he brings to the table out there on any given weekend. Though you might have heard of him through various forms of social media. Believe it or not, Perkins has developed a very strong following on multiple platforms already in his young career. He began posting funny/football content on his Instagram page, where he realized that he was growing fairly quickly. Then he decided to start YouTube channel and continue creating content over there. He also even dove into Snapchat by generating tons of views there as well. In total, Perkins has already racked up 60,000 followers on Instagram, over 100,00 video views when it comes to YouTube and 12,000 subscribers on Snapchat. He’s accomplishing this all at a very young age and he’s clearly incredibly adept at it. There’s no question that this will help further his career by bringing more attention to him as the years pass by.

Perkins isn’t going to let any discouragements get in the way of what he really wants to accomplish. Here‘s to helping Perkins get that opportunity in college that he’s looking for while simultaneously developing all of his social media platforms even further than they already are!

Joe Moore Award Becomes First Post-Season College Award Platform To Launch NIL Program

The Foundation for Teamwork, owners and creators of the Joe Moore Award (@joemooreaward) which honors the most Outstanding Offensive Line Unit in College Football, today announced that it is believed to be the first post season college award program to launch a Name Image and Likeness (NIL) program for its recipients. Timing is everything and the Joe Moore Award is excited to create a partnership with nine members of the 2021 award winners, the offensive line at the University of Michigan. Michigan was awarded the trophy in a ceremony last week in Ann Arbor and will play the University of Georgia in the Orange Bowl on Dec 31 at 7:30 p.m. ET.

“We have seen the great amount of exposure that both winners and finalists of all the major college football awards receive throughout the years, but the actual and immediate benefit from winning the award typically goes to the presenter, not the presentee,” said Aaron Taylor, CBS college football analyst and co-founder of the Joe Moore Award. Taylor, a member of the College Football Hall of Fame, played guard and tackle at the University of Notre Dame for the Award’s namesake, the legendary offensive line coach Joe Moore. “We want to begin to change that dynamic with the growth of NIL for these athletes, and the Joe Moore Award is proud to be what we believe to be the first of the major awards to begin a program which will have long-lasting benefits and a financial upside for our winners, and in many cases for the causes which will be tied to the program. On the field, we’ve always known that when the o-line wins, we all win, and we’re excited to help support Michigan’s O-line extend that same principle in our communities.”

The members of the Michigan offensive line will receive 100% of net t-shirt sales, with a portion going to a philanthropic beneficiary. Additionally the Joe Moore Award will match the players’ charitable gift, up to $10,000, to help further the reach of the winning units impact on their communities. The t-shirts and limited edition merchandise are designed by Make Your Move, an automated digital on-demand order processing and fulfillment partner and are available starting at $20.00 at gomym.com/collections/joe-moore-award.

The charity beneficiaries for the 2021 season are: The Seal Legacy Foundation which is dedicated to providing support to families of wounded and fallen United States Navy SEALs, educational assistance for SEALs and their families, and other charitable causes benefiting the SEAL community; and The AthLife Foundation, a national platform works to ensure that deserving kids from our nation’s most challenged, yet promising communities, can achieve in their future careers beyond sport.

Under offensive line coach Sherrone Moore, Michigan’s starting O-line has featured guard/tackle Karsen Barnhart (2 starts), guard Chuck Filiaga (4 starts), left tackle Ryan Hayes (13 starts), tackle Trente Jones (1 start), left guard Trevor Keegan (10 starts), right tackle Andrew Stueber (13 starts), center Andrew Vastardis (13 starts), and right guard Zak Zinter (11 starts). In addition, tight end Joel Honigford, a converted O-lineman, warrants mention as a key contributor to Michigan’s success.

Michigan led the Big Ten and lists 10th nationally in rushing (223.8 yards per game). The unit has conceded the fewest tackles for loss (27) and third-fewest sacks (10) in the nation this season. Only Army and Air Force, with a combined 204 pass attempts, have allowed fewer sacks. Michigan’s line has paved the way for a 1,000-yard back in Hassan Haskins (1,288 yards) and have another back in range in Blake Corum (939 yards). All five positions earned all-conference honors, with four of the five starters earning first or second-team accolades: Stueber (1st team), Hayes, Vastardis and Zinter (2nd) and Keegan (honorable mention).

The Trophy
The Joe Moore Award trophy, crafted by legendary sports sculptor Jerry McKenna, is the largest trophy in college football, weighing more than 800 pounds, is more than five feet wide and stands nearly seven feet tall. The trophy has been made available to Michigan to display on their campus until the 2022 winner is announced.

The Joe Moore Award is named after Joe Moore, widely regarded as one of the best offensive line coaches in college football history, and is the only major college football award to honor a group or unit. The award annually recognizes the nation’s Most Outstanding Offensive Line Unit that best display the fundamental and historical aspects of great offensive line play: Toughness, Effort, Teamwork, Consistency, Technique, and Finishing.

Voting Committee
The Joe Moore Award voting committee is comprised of 13 individuals who are highly knowledgeable about offensive line play, including former linemen, coaches, talent evaluators and media analysts. This group conducts in-depth analysis by reviewing game tape every week of the season to assess both the fundamentals and subtleties of overall O-line performance.

The 2021 voting committee includes Chairman Cole Cubelic (Auburn, SEC Network); Charles Arbuckle (UCLA, Indianapolis Colts); Randy Cross (UCLA, San Francisco 49ers); Gerry DiNardo (Notre Dame, head coach at LSU); Mike Golic, Jr. (Notre Dame, NFL, ESPN); Harry Hiestand (Joe Moore disciple, NFL and College O-line Coach); Barrett Jones (Alabama, St. Louis Rams); Duke Manyweather (Humboldt State, player and coach; founder of OL Masterminds); Geoff Schwartz (Oregon, Carolina Panthers); Sam Schwartzstein (Stanford, XFL rules creator); Phil Steele (publisher of Phil Steele’s College Football Preview, ESPN); Aaron Taylor (Notre Dame, Green Bay Packers, CBS Sports); and Lance Zierlein (NFL draft analyst, NFL.com and Prospects to Pros podcast, The Athletic).

Past recipients of the Joe Moore Award include the offensive lines of the University of Alabama (2015), the University of Iowa (2016), the University of Notre Dame (2017), Oklahoma University (2018), LSU (2019), and the University of Alabama (2020 – first repeat winner).
