STAR Scholars Network partners with Henry Stoever to host a global convening for academic leaders.

The Society of Transnational Academic Researchers (STAR Scholars Network) today announced its collaboration with Henry Stoever to develop and facilitate two global convenings, bringing together scholars and thought leaders from around the world. These events aim to foster cross-border academic collaboration and discuss pressing global issues in higher education, such as equity, access, academic mobility, and student success aligning with employers’ priorities.

The STAR Scholars Network is dedicated to advancing academic research across borders, with a global membership of over 15,000 scholars. Stoever will work closely with the STAR Scholars Network’s leadership team to ensure the events reflect the organization’s mission of promoting international collaboration and academic success for underrepresented scholars.

The convenings will take place during the 2024 STAR Global Conference, hosted by Kathmandu University from December 12-14, 2024, and in Washington, DC, during March 2025. Stoever’s involvement underscores the STAR Scholars Network’s commitment to inclusivity and the advancement of transnational academic research.
