Aetherspire is a cooperative 3D tile placement and tower defense game for 1-4 players, recently launched (and funded) on Kickstarter. Players will build elemental spires and defend the realm in this stunning 3D strategy game.
Aetherspire represents the first release in Phase Shift’s brand new line of 3D Strategy games, described as “3D with purpose.” This line will feature games where the use of 3D mechanisms is not just a gimmick, and the games are not just toys.
Aetherspire is designed by Connecticut’s Tim Mierzejewski and illustrated by industry veteran Vic Corbella. The game supports 1 to 4 players, ages 8 and up, and it takes about 45-60 minutes to play. Aetherspire is approachable, easy to learn, and family-friendly.
Industry reviewer Rahdo Runs Through said of Aetherspire, “This is way next level! I really, really enjoy this game,” and then added, “very clever design. I’m really, really impressed! I can’t say enough about this game. Combo-tastic!” Another reviewer, Board & Barrel, exclaimed, “I love the three-dimensional element! The table presence of the 3D is really, really fun.”
Aetherspire is on Kickstarter now:
