From group therapy in Louisville, KY, to customized online counseling sessions, Innovative Family Therapy excels in delivering individualized solutions. Adding Kathy Begley, Sonja Stewart, and Carmellia Jackson Hurley to our team ensures we can continue providing various mental health supports to our community.
Kathy Begley has lived in Eastern Kentucky all her life. She earned a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Cumberlands. She specializes in providing a holistic approach while working with people from all walks of life and has 10 years of experience working with high-risk populations.
Sonja Stewart is a Mississippi native, although she has lived in Louisville for the past six years. She works with individuals, couples, and families who may be experiencing emotional challenges, anxiety, loneliness, and relational concerns.
Carmellia Jackson Hurley often works with people who find themselves feeling overworked and underappreciated. People who are self-starters and independent frequently find themselves without a support system because they are the go-to people in their families or networks. She provides the space they need to process the world moving around them.
Additionally, Innovative Family Solutions is proud to introduce a student counselor intern to the team for additional services and affordable mental health care. By introducing these professionals to Louisville and the greater community, we can deliver accessible options with more availability when people need them.
