Wayfair, the destination for the all things home, celebrates its successful first year in India. Since its opening last year, Wayfair India Technology Development Center (TDC) has grown to a team of over 400 professionals, demonstrating its commitment to establishing a strong technology presence in the region and tap into an extensive talent pool. To accommodate its growth, the Wayfair India team moved into a larger (95,000 square feet) office space at Bagmane Capital, Mahadevapura, Bengaluru.
The new office in Bagmane Capital, Mahadevapura, spans the top three floors of Angkor West. It is designed to foster innovation and collaboration. The office will have approximately 700 seats available and Wayfair plans to fill the space over time, with flexibility to add more space as needed. The office will house all technology functions at Wayfair, including Supply Chain and Retail Technology, Storefront, Global Supplier Technology, Platforms, and Search Marketing and Recommendations.
The campus amenities include a creche, food court, amphitheatre, indoor and outdoor game areas, a swimming pool, gym, ATM, clinic, and financial exchange services. Inside the office, there are planned recreational areas with a TT table, foosball table, carom board, chess, K-box, Ludo table, and a wellness/prayer room.
Rohit Kaila, Head of Technology and Site Leader Wayfair India TDC, remarked, “Our journey in India has been remarkable.
