Originating in 2005 as an initiative aiding wounded military personnel at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, particularly those returning from conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan, Project Healing Waters has evolved dynamically, establishing its acclaimed program across Department of Defense (DOD) hospitals, Warrior Transition Units (WTU), Veterans Affairs medical centers, and clinics nationwide.
Strategically positioned amidst the convergence of numerous blue-ribbon rivers and streams in Michigan, Oak Heart Lodge offers a year-round haven for fishing enthusiasts, boasting Steelhead, Trout, Smallmouth Bass, and King Salmon.
