EzeRx and Himachal Pradesh Government Join Forces to Envision an Anemia Mukt Bharat

EzeRx, a pioneering MedTech company committed to making healthcare accessible and affordable, has taken a resolute step towards the noble cause of Anemia Mukt Bharat by joining hands with the Himachal Pradesh Government to tackle the anemia crisis. EzeRx showcased its flagship product, ‘EzeCheck,’ the world’s first ICMR-validated non-invasive hemoglobin screening device, at a health camp held on January 15th at Civil Hospital, Solan, Himachal Pradesh.

 

The unveiling of the device took place in the presence of Shri Sanjay Awasthi, Chief Parliamentary Secretary, Government of Himachal Pradesh. EzeRx also initiated mass screening at the camp at Arki, testing over 750+ individuals on the first day—a substantial step towards the collective goal of making Himachal Pradesh anemia-free.

Anemia is a prevalent health challenge in India, especially among women aged 15-49. This initiative is a visionary effort led by Honorable Shri. Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, in collaboration with EzeRx. With an alarming overall prevalence of 57.6%, focusing on vulnerable groups such as adolescent girls, pregnant women, and children under 5, both EzeRx and the Himachal Pradesh government are committed to early detection and a healthier future. EzeCheck was deployed in the state during 2022-23 after rigorous validation, these life-saving devices are now being introduced across Himachal Pradesh to effectively combat anemia.
