The event includes an elegant buffet lunch and a silent auction with nearly 100 items. The afternoon will be capped by a fashion show featuring local community leaders as models.

They are all super stellar ladies and we are thrilled to have them model this year, says Joanie Sigal, the chairwoman of the event. We cant thank them enough for taking the time out of their busy lives to help the children of Pinellas County.

The auction has something for everyone, said Ms. Sigal. We have celebrity items, jewelry, baked goods, fine art, dinners at prestigious restaurants and many valuable gift certificates. We also have a Havanese puppy who will be part of the live auction.

But the focus of the event is raising funds to help Pinellas County children and families in need.

Pinellas PAL provides a safe place for after-school activities in a very rough neighborhood. The staff at PAL, the parents who bring their kids to PAL and of course the PAL kids, are working hard to make a better future for their community and it is an honor to be able to assist them, said Sigal.

Funds also support on-going projects for the CCV, such as the distribution of school supplies, holiday gifts for youth in need and food for Pinellas families.

CCV first held the Annual Fashions with Flair Fashion Show & Fundraiser in 2003 at the Belleair Country Club. In 2010, the show moved to the beautifully restored Fort Harrison owned by the Church of Scientology. Nearly 350 people from the greater Tampa Bay area attend each year.

Tickets are $65, with VIP seating available for $85. Tables of ten are also available. For more details about this event and the Clearwater Community Volunteers please go to: http://clearwatercommunityvolunteers.org
