Sacrifice on the Border follows young mother, Yoali, as she embarks on a journey to find her stolen child. The story is about the love of a mother despite the chaotic and lethal border that separates her from her child. It is a gripping tale of love and adventure interwoven with the dark themes of violence, corruption, and drug & child trafficking.

Yoali, a woman from a small town called Queseria, crosses the Rio Grande with her child in order to reach the U.S. border and start a new life. However, her child, Elisito gets stolen while they are crossing the river. Guayo, Elisitos father, tells Yoali the child has drowned. Little does she know that Guayo has kidnapped her son in order to sell him on the black market.

When Yoali learns about her son, she does everything to find him. Frank, a policeman, offers to help Yoali go south of the border to track him down. On their journey they are joined by the Osos, a biker family who says they know the safest routes through the drug-infested territory. Along the way, Frank and Yoali encounter goodness and malevolence, treachery, despair and magic and also find each other.

Will Yoali find her child? Find out about it in Cecilia Domeykos Sacrifice on the Border: A Mother Searches for Her Stolen Child, available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble. Learn more about the author and her work at www.ceciliadomeyko.com.
