SCST congratulates Tsang Yee-ting on winning gold medal

     The Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mr Kevin Yeung, today (July 22) extended his congratulations to Hong Kong karate athlete Tsang Yee-ting on winning a gold medal in the Senior Female Individual Kumite -50kg event in 2023 AKF Senior Championships.
   Mr Yeung said, “Tsang Yee-ting has overcome one hurdle after another throughout the series of matches and won the gold medal. We are thrilled and encouraged to see Hong Kong karate athletes standing on the highest medal podium for two days in a row. I wish again all Hong Kong athletes every success in other international competitions.”
