Typhoon Talim situation report (2)

     The Hong Kong Observatory replaced the No. 8 Northeast Gale or Storm Signal by the No. 8 Southeast Gale or Storm Signal at 6.40am today (July 17).
     The Home Affairs Department has so far opened 29 temporary shelters in various districts and 92 people have sought refuge at the shelters.
     As at 6am today, the 1823 Government Call Centre has received three reports of fallen tree. No reports of landslide or flooding have been received so far.Â
     According to the Hospital Authority, as at 6am today, no people have sought medical treatment at public hospitals during the typhoon period.
