Sassy Sonja: Bravo Atlanta by Sarah Sewell Wolters will be displayed by self-publishing and book marketing company ReadersMagnet at the 2023 Hong Kong Book Fair. The book fair will take place on July 19-25, 2023, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, 1 Expo Dr, Wan Chai, Hong Kong.

The Hong Kong Book Fair is one of the largest book fairs in Asia and a grand summer event in Hong Kong. Organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the citys literary and cultural extravaganza features book exhibits, storytelling sessions, author panel discussions, workshops, live entertainment, and more.

Sassy Sonja follows Sonja Kent as she leaves Jacksonville to start a new life in Atlanta after the death of her abusive ex-husband. This freedom leads her to the young, up-and-coming man from a wealthy and influential Atlanta family, Marion Avon, who sweeps her off her feet. Their wedding is a glorious event, but Sonjas bitter parents refuse to attend.

The story is set in the 1960s when segregation is ending in the South and a new day of racial equality is dawning. Marion gets involved with the Southern Christian Leadership Conference. Sonja supports the end of segregation, but she is fearful of the violence that can erupt from the social change as two influential people were assassinated, thus causing a spiral of events.
