Lamborghini Hatfield officially opens, with a gala VIP event at the new dealership location marking the eleventh official franchised outlet for Automobili Lamborghini in the UK. Owned and operated by HR Owen Group, one of the UKs largest specialist luxury and sports car dealer groups, the substantial new Hatfield location delivers extensive showroom and aftersales facilities, reflecting the growing UK Lamborghini car parc and model line-up.

In Hatfield for the dealerships inauguration, Chairman and CEO Stephan Winkelmann said, This is a very significant investment and commitment by our franchise partner HR Owen, that reflects the strength of the Lamborghini brand in the UK and in turn our commitment to the UK market. Lamborghinis appeal, not only in terms of our models desirability but a fascination with the brand, continues to build in the UK and around the world: this new dealership and its representation of our marque is an endorsement of Lamborghinis attractiveness as a super sports car manufacturer and global luxury brand.

Located on a new 2.06-hectare development by HR Owen in Mosquito Way, Hatfield, the expansive 500 sq m Lamborghini showroom includes an upstairs mezzanine lounge with views over the showroom below and a dedicated Ad Personam studio, where clients can choose from virtually unlimited colour and trim options to personalize their new Lamborghini. The 870 sq m aftersales facility includes a 14-bay technical centre, and a drive-in service reception that scans cars on check-in and automatically appraises condition.

More than 200 guests joined Lamborghini executives and Lamborghini Hatfield and HR Owen management for the opening event. A unique artwork by Hatfield-based artist Mark Evans was also unveiled, a bull etched on leather: just one artwork commissioned by Lamborghini dealers worldwide as part of the celebrations for Lamborghinis 60th anniversary in 2023.

Cars on display included the new Lamborghini Revuelto[1], the marques first V12 super sports plug-in hybrid HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle), which was unveiled earlier this year with orders already accounting for two years production. The Huracn Sterrato[2], produced in just 1499 units that are all sold, was also displayed along with a Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 and the current Huracn and Urus Super SUV ranges.

We are very proud to officially open Lamborghini Hatfield, which is the result of a significant investment and a clear illustration of our passionate commitment to Lamborghini, said HR Owen CEO Ken Choo. Our Hatfield development the culmination of Berjaya Group founder, Vincent Tans vision to create the ultimate supercar experience is truly a destination for our Lamborghini clients, with the space and facilities to not only display new and pre-owned models and provide the best aftersales care possible, but to create events and host activities that reflect Lamborghinis Italian super sports heritage and lifestyle.

Automobili Lamborghini has eleven dealerships across the UK: three further locations owned by HR Owen in London, Manchester and Pangbourne, as well as Birmingham, Edinburgh, Leicester, Chelmsford, Tunbridge Wells, Bristol and Leeds. Automobili Lamborghini announced its best-ever annual results for the year ending 2022, with global deliveries at 9,233 units while turnover topped 2 billion for the first time. The UK is the fourth largest market worldwide, behind the USA, Chinese mainland/Hong Kong/Macau, and Germany: the UK delivered 650 cars in 2022, up 15% compared to 2021.
