Expanded Selection of Prepared Foods, Sushi, New Seafood Department, and Enhanced Online Shopping Top List of Amenities Coming to Area Shoppers as Part of Major Store Renovation
Cingari Family ShopRite, the family-owned and operated Connecticut-based company, announced today plans to renovate the ShopRite in Shelton, CT on Bridgeport Avenue to better serve customers. The store will remain open during the renovation process.
The remodel will include a brand-new seafood department, updated meat and produce departments, a new and expansive prepared foods and deli section, a new bakery department, a new and improved sushi department, and an updated floral department. Additionally, the store will update lighting and incorporate new store décor for an enhanced look and modern shopping experience.

The new prepared foods and deli section will offer a variety of ready-to-heat and ready-to-eat options, making it easy for customers to grab a quick and delicious meal on the go. The renovated seafood department will feature a selection of fresh fish, shellfish, and other seafood options. The updated meat and produce departments will provide customers with an even greater selection of high-quality meats, fruits, and vegetables. The new bakery department will offer fresh-baked bread, cakes, pastries, and other baked goods. The new and expanded sushi department will offer a variety of sushi rolls, sashimi, and other Japanese-inspired dishes. Customers can also look forward to updated lighting and new store décor, which will provide a fresh and modern look and feel to the store. The new and improved floral department will consist of fresh and quality flowers and arrangements for all occasions.
