S for S speaks on Police’s recent search operation and legislation on Article 23 of Basic Law
******************************************************************************************
Following is the transcript of remarks by the Secretary for Security, Mr Tang Ping-keung, at a media session after attending a radio programme today (May 6):
Reporter: Can you also recap in English about the Police’s seizure of “Pillar of Shame”?
Secretary for Security: The seizure of that particular exhibit is a particular case that will be in court proceeding, so I am not in a good position to comment on an individual case. But I have to emphasise that Police’s investigation, in any case, won’t stop at a particular stage. If we consider that there is a value to seize anything, we will do it in accordance with the law, and in accordance with the court procedures.
