Men’s drug rehab facility specializing in recovery through the principles of the LDS church opens its newest outpatient center in Southern Utah.
Led by two brothers who spent years in the throes of addiction, the Renaissance Ranch Treatment Centers are uniquely positioned to help men recover from drug, alcohol, and other addictions. While they have multiple inpatient facilities, not everyone needs that level of care. That’s why they opened their newest outpatient facility in St. George, Utah.
“A lot of people think that treatment means checking yourself into a center for months of intensive rehab, and while that may be the right approach for some, others are more suited to outpatient care. We’re proud to be expanding our outpatient options in the beautiful city of St. George,” said Preston Dixon, Renaissance Ranch COO.
This is Renaissance’s second outpatient drug treatment center. (The other is near Salt Lake City in Sandy, Utah.) It offers various treatment options, ranging from an intense five-day-per-week program with partial hospitalization to a general outpatient program with three or less days of treatment per week. All packages come with individual counseling sessions and a dedicated individual recovery coach. These coaches are a key part of Renaissance Ranch’s high success rate in preventing relapse.
The outpatient addiction treatment programs focus on gospel principles from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS). They follow a 12-step model and are backed by cognitive-behavioral therapy and resources for sustained recovery (including the Band of Brothers, one of the country’s largest addiction recovery alumni groups for men).
Renaissance Ranch is also heavily focused on family dynamics, providing therapy to help families and their addicted loved ones work together toward lifelong sobriety.
Drug overdose deaths have risen sharply in the past few years, fueled by an increase in synthetic opioids (such as fentanyl) and the economic and mental health fallout from the pandemic.
“Effective addiction recovery centers have never been more critical….it is truly a matter of life and death in many cases,” said Dixon.
Preston Dixon and his brother Tyson Dixon (Renaissance Ranch CEO) employ many staff members who are also recovering addicts, giving them special insight into how to best serve their patients. Renaissance Ranch Treatment Centers have received Utah’s “Best of State” Award for their intensive outpatient addiction recovery programs. According to Vista Research Group, Inc., a third-party rating group, Renaissance has one of the highest success rates for centers of its kind nationwide.
Renaissance Ranch has treatment centers in Bluffdale, Utah; Rupert, Idaho; Sandy, Utah; and St. George. The new outpatient facility is located at 44 North 800 East in St. George. For more information, visit RenaissanceRanch.net or call (855) 736-7262.
About Renaissance Ranch Treatment Centers
Renaissance Ranch is a Utah rehab center that uses a faith-based addiction recovery program by combining the traditional 12-Step approach to treatment combined with Gospel principles as they relate to alcohol and drug addiction. They are owned and operated by individuals who have been through the challenging road to recovery, but who have been made more whole and stronger by that very journey. Renaissance Ranch takes those who are at their lowest point and bring them into a program that gives them hope and a blueprint of how to grow and achieve their best selves.
