DH announces window falling incident at Tuen Mun Wu Hong Maternal and Child Health Centre

     The Department of Health (DH) today (March 29) announced that a piece of window at a room of Tuen Mun Wu Hong Maternal and Child Health Centre (MCHC) fell down from 2/F. No casualty was reported and the DH is actively following up on the situation.

     Tuen Mun Wu Hong MCHC is located at 2/F, Tuen Mun Wu Hong Clinic, 2 Wu Hong Street, Tuen Mun. A piece of window sized at about 0.5 metres by 0.8 metres fell off to area near the carpark outside the building at around 3pm today when a staff member of the MCHC was opening the window. No injury was reported and services of the MCHC was not affected.

     ​Upon learning of the incident, the DH has contacted the Architectural Services Department (ArchSD) immediately for an urgent maintenance and inspection. The ArchSD has always been arranging regular maintenance and repair for the clinic building structure (including the windows). The DH will confer the necessary assistance thorough inspection by the ArchSD against the windows of the building.
