Further discussion included the value of vocational schools and how those trades have become highly sought skills in today’s market, specifically the construction industry.
As is well-documented, delays and the natural occurrence of the economy play a role in working as efficiently as possible. According to Ludwig, Projects are taking longer because you don’t have all of the resources. There is so much work that everyone is trying to accomplish.
Lastly, Ludwig spoke about the efforts to rebuild the industry.

About Matt Ludwig, PE
Matt Ludwig, PE began working with Matrix New World Engineering as a Project Engineer. In 2021 he was named Director of Federal Services. Ludwig is a highly experienced construction program manager and Professional Engineer with more than two decades of experience. He has held leaderships positions within the United States Army Corps of Engineers USACE both domestically and abroad and is adept at managing and overseeing complex projects and programs. Under his guidance, USACE construction programs have placed hundreds of millions of dollars into the construction and engineering industries. Mr. Ludwig specializes in programs related to geotechnical, and remediation projects, and is highly adaptable and capable of leading teams across a variety of disciplines. Ludwig has an MS, Engineering Management, Florida Institute of Technology and a BS, Civil Engineering, New Jersey Institute of Technology.
