Changes can sometimes be as dramatic as a punch to the gut, but in many cases, they’re something more subtle and gradual. More often than not, it takes a massive or shocking revelation for people to change their ways or realize their actions have led them astray and caused conflict where there was none before.

The premise of this work is to have the readers join Dee-Anna as she embarks on a frightening journey into the unknown, where the depths of her psyche reveal her well-hidden secrets. A heroine of a materialistic generation, Dee-Anna’s roaming into nihility makes her share some of the most shocking and devastating truths about life, death, and love that no one ever wants to know. There are things in this book you’ll never want to admit out loud, but if you do, you could change your life forever.

Even though almost the entire work has readers marching alongside Dee-Anna inside a strange realm, “Witness to My Last Judgement” is not a science-fiction adventure, and its goal is not to scare the reader. It was written for all of us to show that we will all die and meet the “unknown,” whose shape, location, colors, fragrance, and dimensions are unknown.

Dee-Anna’s experience is one-of-a-kind, but thankfully it does not follow the typical pattern followed by authors who write about out-of-body experiences and life after death. The novel is more profound, and it is because of this that readers are drawn to it.

About the Author

As a Christian storyteller, Marie-Emily used her God-given talents to narrate the drama of earthly life on canvas and paper. Her first book, entitled The Price: Stop My Time, I Want to Get Off, was published in 1997 by Benchmark Publishing & Design. In 2010, the Bible League in Bucharest, Romania, published the first and then the second edition of Understanding the Bible.

At first a surrealist yet later transformed into a “subjective-realist” artist, Marie-Emily’s canvases illustrate unique inspirational stories of our earthly lives. She had the honor of having her artwork displayed in solo and group exhibitions in various countries. In a letter addressed to her, George W. Bush, the former President of the United States, acknowledged his reception of one of her oil paintings, entitled “The One Is Yet to Come,” which portrays the masked figure of the last dictator who is yet to rule the world. The majority of her work is available at www.marie-emilysendrea.com.
