The book is about yawning animals that Geigert had photographed yawning during her travels in different parts of the world. All animals in this book were photographed yawning; some have wide open teeth baring and tongue hanging out yawns, while others were captured at the end of their yawns.

“Who’s Yawning Now?” does not only entertain the readers about the animals that yawn. The book also informs them of the plight of animals that are facing extinction. The readers learn about the struggles that animals go through on a daily basis. The animals in the book are listed in the International Union for Conservation of Nature’s Red List of Threatened Species.
