Kerry Barton Alberti has been included in Marquis Who’s Who. As in all Marquis Who’s Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. From 1968 to 1972 Mr. Alberti served as an officer in the U.S. Air Force. For his service, he was presented with a Commendation Medal for Outstanding Achievement in 1971 and a Commendation Medal for Meritorious Service in 1972. He was promoted to the rank of Captain on February 4, 1972. Among his career achievements, Mr. Alberti is most proud to have received such recognition for his service in the line of duty.
Mr. Alberti began his career in finance in 1972, at which point he was employed as the vice president and director of management science at the Chase Manhattan Bank until 1979. Thereafter, he accrued experience as the vice president of strategic management at Avis Inc., the senior vice president of the Bankers Trust Company and the managing director of financial services of Midland Bank. Between 1993 and 2008, Mr. Alberti worked in a similar capacity at banks and other financial institutions.
Mr. Alberti found success as the chief financial officer of Young Life from 2008 until his retirement in 2011. Aside from his primary vocational pursuits, he has served as a board director for the Chosen People Ministries, the Tyndale Theological Seminary in the Netherlands and the Military Community Youth Ministry. In 2017, Mr. Alberti earned emeritus status as a trustee for Young Life. In 2022 Mr. Alberti was elected as a Director emeritus of the Military Community Youth Ministry.
Mr. Alberti earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in economics and a Master of Arts in business from Tippie College of Business. Likewise, in 2005, he obtained a Master of Arts in Theology from the Fuller Theological Seminary.
