Media are invited to a virtual technical briefing regarding recent initiatives and future plans taken by the Department of National Defence and the Canadian Armed Forces to advance culture change within Canada’s military, enhance the professionalism and effectiveness of the Canadian Armed Forces, and ensure an inclusive and safe workplace for all Defence Team members.

Media are invited to a virtual technical briefing regarding recent initiatives and future plans taken by the Department of National Defence and the Canadian Armed Forces to advance culture change within Canada’s military, enhance the professionalism and effectiveness of the Canadian Armed Forces, and ensure an inclusive and safe workplace for all Defence Team members.

Lieutenant-General Jennie Carignan, Chief, Professional Conduct and Culture, and Major-General Lise Bourgon, Acting Chief of Military Personnel, will provide an overview of the Canadian Armed Forces’ approach to diversity, inclusion, and culture change, and along with other senior leaders will be available to answer questions.
