It all started in 1995 when Fix & Feed owner, Bobby Hill, purchased a shopping center in Commerce, Texas. As a kid, Bobby worked in his father’s grocery store. He knew about the importance of having a hardware store in his community. After approaching some hardware retailers with no success he decided to start up his own store.
The first Fix and Feed store opened in 1996, expanding to Bonham, Texas, by 2003 and Sulphur Springs in 2006. Bobby’s prior retail experience in owning a convenience store was an asset in helping him start up Fix and Feed throughout the Texas area.

“Our general manager began loading feed 20 years ago, and since 2010 has led a team with nearly 150 employees.
