Fatal traffic accident in Pat Heung

Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Pat Heung today (February 16) in which a 30-year-old man died.
At about 0.00am, a private car driven by the 30-year-old man was travelling along Fan Kam Road towards Yuen Long. When approaching Ta Shek Wu, it reportedly lost control and fell down a slope.
The driver was trapped inside the compartment and rescued by firemen. Sustaining serious injuries to his head and hands, he was rushed to North District Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 0.47am.
Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North is underway.
