Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 launched earlier this month and things have flipped literally. The island from Chapter 2 had been turned upside down, meaning theres a ton of new locations and surprises to discover. For example, you can put on Spider-Mans web-shooter to swing as Spidey! Or slide to evade enemy fire (while still shooting and building). Or set up camp with the rest of your squad while exploring new frontiers. Theres a lot more to uncover, but lets leave it there for now.
Of course, December also means that its time for the annual Winterfest in-game event. Heres what you can expect:
The Winterfest Lodge Re-Opens (a.k.a. Get Free Stuff)
Running from now until January 6, 2022, at 9 a.m. ET, Sgt. Winter will give players 14 Presentsincluding two Outfitsover the course of Winterfest 2021 (theres also a third gift Outfit you can get another way too).
To unwrap your Presents, just head to the Lodge every day for 14 days. Wrapped up in the Lodge are two Outfits, two Pickaxes, two Wraps, as well as a Glider, Contrail, Emote, Lobby Track, Loading Screen, Emoticon, Spray, and Banner.
Like last time, the Winterfest Lodge will be accessible through a snowflake tab in the Lobby. If you miss any days of opening Presents, simply return any time before Winterfest ends (January 6 at 9 a.m. ET) to open them up.
Winterfest Quests for Rewards
Each day for 14 days, Sgt. Winter will announce a new Winterfest Quest in the Quests page, each one with an XP reward. All Winterfest Quests are available to complete until Winterfest ends (January 6 at 9 a.m. ET). For completing seven Winterfest Quests, youll unlock the Snowmando Board Glider, and for completing ten, the Ffrosty Back Bling.
In the Item Shop: Spider-Man and MJ from Spider-Man: No Way Home
Theres classic Spider-Man of the Chapter 3 Season 1 Battle Pass, and soon No Way Home Spider-Man and MJ will be coming to the Item Shop for Winterfest. (Just in time for the movies release!) The Spider-Man (No Way Home) and MJ (No Way Home) Outfits will be in the Item Shop starting December 16 at 7 p.m. ET. Put on and take off No Way Home Spider-Mans mask with his built-in Emote!
More new outfits will also be rotating into the Shop as Winterfest progresses.
Unvaulted Icy Items
And, of course, you warm up to some of Sgt. Winters armory during this eventit includes Chiller Grenades, Snowball Launchers, and Holiday Presents. Oh, and dont forget that you can use a Sneaky Snowman to disguise yourself as a snowman and stealth around. Snowmen are known for their stealth, after all
