The gala event commenced on an auspicious note with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. It had the soulful theme of ‘Swanubhooty – An Odyssey of Bliss’, which celebrated the divine confluence of ‘Navras’: Shringar Ras, Hasya Ras, Veer Ras, Karun Ras, Shant Ras, Adbhut Ras, Bhayanak Ras, Raudra Ras, Vibhats Ras, Vatsalya Ras and Bhakti Ras’. Invoking the blessings of Lord Ganesha through ‘Ganadhyakshaya’, the cultural program set the dais for a rapturous rendezvous of talents ahead. ‘The music of life is best serenaded when its mellifluous notes emanate from the nectar of nine sentiments’ – this message echoed with the vivacious orchestra performance – ‘Tarangini’, based on ‘raag Kirwani’ by the budding musicians of the school.

The showstopper of the day was the musical ballet ‘Rasotsav- the saga of nine emotions’ animated by the recital of fascinating ‘Akbar-Birbal’ stories, folk tales, narratives of renowned authors like Franz Kafka and many more. The euphoric mood continued with the Virtual Exhibition – ‘Pratibimb’, which was replete with beautiful paintings, jaw-dropping clay work and exquisite pottery work done by the young artists of the school. Each artwork subtly reflected how the essence of ‘navras’ of life is manifested in nature and adorns it with ecstasy, splendour and tranquility and how its glory can be heightened if humans establish a communion with it.

The event witnessed the digital release of ‘Ignite – The School Chronicle’, showcasing the students’ zeal even in these unprecedented times. Meritorious students excelling in academics and co-curricular activities were awarded medals and certificates for their diligence, consistency and unwavering zeal. The school’s alumna Aarushi Agarwal, 2012-13 batch, talked about the journey of her successful career and how the school, through its child-centric holistic approach, played a pivotal role in bequeathing a strong edifice to it.
