Virtual Event by Youth Against Injustice Foundation on Independence Day

Youth Against Rape (YAR) is a mission under Youth Against Injustice Foundation (Y.A.I.F) working for the vision “Rape Mukt Bharat” was on a Cycling Campaign which aims to cover 50,000+kms in which 10,000+ km have been covered. The Cycling Campaign and the mission Youth Against Rape have been put on hold for a while keeping in mind the current ongoing epidemic, COVID 19.

Started with some young passionate minds now Y.A.I.F is a team of 4000+ dynamic volunteers across 21 States and 3 UTs. YAR teams have successfully conducted 1500+ seminars, 450+ awareness campaigns, 120+ cleanliness drives, various Khushiyaan Banto campaigns where 40,000 homemade masks, 28000 meals, 3500 rashan kits, and over 60000 sanitary napkins were distributed all over India.

On the occasion of “75th Independence Day,” Y.A.I.F had organized a virtual Flag Hosting event titled Independence Day with YAR- Shouldering the responsibility of Equality. The flag hoisting was done by Chief Guests, Major Prajakta Desai (Army Veteran and adventure enthusiast) and Captain Ritu Kumar Singh (3rd runner up Mrs. World 2020). They interacted with the audience and lend their support to the “Mission YAR”.

Team Y.A.I.F has also organized an online “Reel-making and Poem Competition” on the theme “Gender Equality”. The winners of the Reel Competition were Survi Keshri

Bhavna Modhavadiya & Simran Vanjani and Poetry Competition are won by Gauri Mishra, Navya Surekha, Trupti Mishra They were felicitated with a Winning Certificate in the event by the special guests ‘Amit Nainawat’- SSC rank 1 holder, income tax officer & public speaker & Dilip Patel- Brand Promotor of Mount Abu & Sirohi Rajasthan, a filmmaker & a world record holder.

Team YAR also launched the “Remote Awareness Program” through the live event. Various campaigns are organized by Team YAR in different states. The teams had joined the live event from the ground and demonstrated the great spirit of Unity and Compassion.

All the COVID-19 guidelines were strictly followed by all the YAR Ground Teams.
