Dr. Anne Lee, Raytheon Engineering Fellow and Air Force Association Schriever Fellow was recently chosen to be featured in the Top 50 Fearless Leaders Publication by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP).

Dr. Anne Lee, Raytheon Engineering Fellow and Air Force Association Schriever Fellow was recently chosen to be featured in the Top 50 Fearless Leaders Publication by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP).

While being selected to be published in IAOTP’s Top 50 Fearless Leaders Publication, is an honor in itself, only 50 of the world’s most brilliant, courageous, inspirational professionals are selected for this distinction.

These special honorees are hand selected to share their stories of perseverance, resilience, passion and strength. They have made outstanding contributions to society; they have impacted their industries and are respected in their trades. A chapter will be dedicated to each honoree and the book is anticipated to be released in the 4th quarter of 2021.

Dr. Lee has exemplary brilliance in her field and has dedicated close to two decades of her career to Cyber Security and Cyber Architecture. She was recognized in 2019 as Top Cyber Architect of the Year and Dr. Lee was named Empowered Woman of the Year for 2020. In addition to these merits, she will be honored as Top Cyber Architect of the Decade for 2021 at IAOTP’s Annual Awards Gala being held at the Plaza Hotel in New York City this December.

Dr. Lee is nationally recognized as a rapid acquisition expert, her skill set also includes military operations, Department of Defense policy writing, private industry satellite development, advanced radio frequency/radar technology and advanced electro-optical/laser- phased array technology.

Dr. Lee recently retired from United States Air Force and is currently working at Raytheon Company as an Engineering Fellow. She recently competed several innovative research and technology demonstrations including Deep Learning Weapon Classifications, Maneuver Hypersonic Missile Detection and Tracking, and Super Intelligence Hypersonic Weapon Kill Chain.

Throughout her career, she has shown leadership not only as Chief of Cyber Architecture but in every position she has ever held.  Her prior roles have included, Avionic Engineer and New Business Development Manager with Northrop Grumman, Senior Sensors and Communications Engineer with the Boeing Company, and Senior Radar System Engineer and Antenna Designer with Raytheon Company.

Dr. Lee earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, and her Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from California State Polytechnic University.  She did post graduate work at the California Institute of Technology where she earned a Master of Science in Engineering and then attended Walden University where she received a Doctor of Philosophy in Management.  Last year Dr. Lee completed her studies with the Air War College, accepting a Master of Science in Military Strategic Leadership and National Security Studies.  She is certified in Level III Systems Engineering and Level II Program Management by the Defense Acquisition University. Dr. Lee is also certified in Defense Cybersecurity and risk management framework by the Pentagon and Department of Defense and in engineering and technical management by the California Institute of Technology.

Throughout her illustrious career Dr. Lee has received awards, accolades and has been recognized worldwide for her prominence and commitment to the profession. She received the AFA Schriever Fellow in December 2019. In 2018, she received the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award and has been in numerous editions of Who’s Who in America and Who’s Who in American Women.  She received the Silicon Beach Innovation Award in Internet of Things to Future of Cyber-Physical Systems, the Space and Missile Systems Center Quarterly Award, the Raytheon Spotlight Award, and the Meritorious Service Award from NASA JPL Space Exploration. She is being considered for a feature in TIP (Top Industry Professional) Magazine and to be broadcast on the famous Reuters Building in Times Square, NYC.

Being active in her community, Dr. Lee is a member with many organizations and contributor to many professional journals. She belongs to the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, the National Management Honor Society and Sigma Iota Epsilon. She is a strategic fellow member of the International Institute for Strategic Studies Research Institute and member of the National Defense Industrial Association. Dr. Lee participated in the 2019 AT&T 5G Hackathon Competition on Cyber Secured 5G Network and Applications. In the future, she hopes to inspire people to pursue a career in cyber architecture and to protect as many people as she can through her superior attention to detail and knowledge of her industry.
