It all started in his childhood. Mark Albini was born and raised in the state of New Jersey. He loved exploring the woods, which had a creek rich with wildlife. He spent a lot of his time capturing and rearing the animals he was allowed to keep at home. When he wasn’t doing that, he was watching them.

Albini never outgrew his love for wildlife, and with that same love, a vision was born. His passion for animals has resulted in a one-of-a-kind series that teaches children important life skills while also nurturing their love for nature. He warmly welcomes us to Rescue Ranch, a tranquil setting where animals may come and remain and enjoy the rest of their lives. The Rescue Ranch books are written in rhyme and are accompanied by bright and vivid pictures.

“Jimmy the Giraffe” is the first character in the series. Jimmy’s story will teach the importance of self-acceptance by demonstrating the uniqueness of everyone’s identity.

Jimmy and his pal Howie stopped for a short bale of hay on their way to school. Howie, on the other hand, uncovered something that made Jimmy feel uneasy about himself – dislike his long neck and made him wish he was a horse instead. Jimmy sulked in a dark corner of the barn, thinking he was very unlucky because of his neck. Until he met a wise mouse named Bobo.

What lesson does Bobo have to impart to Jimmy?
