Eight years after the original website went dark, Gossip Girl is back as your number one source into the scandalous lives of New Yorks elite, and shes making up for lost time. A new generation of Upper East Siders will now be targeted, bringing to light their scandals, angst and gossip in the new era of social media.
The cast includes performances by Whitney Peak, Emily Alyn Lind, Evan Mock, Jordan Alexander, Thomas Doherty, Eli Brown, Zión Moreno, Savannah Smith and Tavi Gevinson. GOSSIP GIRL is narrated by the original voice, Kristen Bell.
GOSSIP GIRL is produced by Fake Empire and Alloy Entertainment in association with Warner Bros. Television and CBS Studios. The series is written, executive produced and developed by Joshua Safran of Random Acts. Executive producers also include Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage of Fake Empire, and Leslie Morgenstein and Gina Girolamo of Alloy Entertainment. Lis Rowinski of Fake Empire serves as co-executive producer. Karena Evans directs two episodes and original costume designer Eric Daman rejoins the series.
