He graduated from Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis, MO and he completed his general surgery residency at University of Illinois, Chicago. After residency, he entered active duty in the US Air Force. He served his country proudly for a total of nine years as an officer.

Dr. Kasemsap is a board certified general surgeon and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He graduated from Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis, MO and he completed his general surgery residency at University of Illinois, Chicago. After residency, he entered active duty in the US Air Force. He served his country proudly for a total of nine years and reached the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. While in the military, he established a Bariatric Surgery (weight loss operations) program that was recognized as a Center of Excellence by Air Force Headquarters. He also served as a Flight Surgeon for the 561st Fighter Squadron and deployed to both Middle East conflicts. After the military, Dr. Kasemsap started his private practice career in general surgery. He specialized in laparoscopic and bariatric surgery. He has performed over 3,000 operations.

In 2011, he graduated as valedictorian from the University of Miami’s MBA Program for Health Sector Management and Policy. With his MBA, Dr. Kasemsap has been able to affect positive changes in thousands of patients’ lives as a physician executive.
