Indian Institute of Finance hosted the 44th IIF Webinar series on “Essence of Life and Growth” by Mr. Vasindra Mishra (INDIA), Editor-in-Chief, Jantantra TV (Hindi National News Channel); formerly Editor, Network 18 Group; formerly Editor, Zee Media (Hindi Regional News Channel); formerly with Times of India, Hindustan Times, Amar Ujala, National Herald, INDIA. The IIF Webinar was moderated by Prof. Aman Agarwal, Professor of Finance & Dean (IR) Indian Institute of Finance (www.iif.edu) and Executive Editor, Finance India (www.financeindia.org). The Webinar was attended by over 54 global participants from USA, Sweden, Spain, Tunisia, South Africa, UAE, India and others.
Mr. Mishra said that the life is full of shapes and actions and it should be fulfilled. One should believe in Karma and God at any point of time in life. In order to balance life and growth, one should definitely invest in themselves. One should be honest with themselves, their family, society and their duty to live the happy life. One should be satisfied with what they have stressed Mr. Mishra.
According to him, every religion teaches us to help the needy and helpless people. It’s our responsibility to take care of our neighbours. The person should be compassionate, passionate and helpful towards others. We should not compare our economy with other countries as each country has different priorities felt Mr. Mishra. Corona has given us an opportunity to rethink about life and growth.
Youth should have more patience and focus on whatever they are doing; they should read History and Mythology because it teaches us how to deal with any situation in life and induce sustainable growth said Mr. Mishra. He was very bullish on Rural India, as he himself came from a very humble family and said that the real strength of Bharat lies in the Rural India.
Indian Institute of Finance has initiated the interactive IIF Webinar Series on “Essence of Life and Growth” with the prime objective to bring forth positivity of life based on the life experiences one has gained over 3-4 decades of personal life experiences, professional life, the nation, the economy and the world at large, having seen different colours of life based on ups and downs one has witnessed.
