Indian Institute of Finance hosted the 34th IIF Webinar series on “Essence of Life and Growth” by USA Prof Dr Shyam S Lodha, Professor, Southern Connecticut State Ùniv, USA and EB Member Finance India (Qtrly refereed Journal of Finance, INDIA. The Webinar was moderated by Prof. Aman Agarwal, Professor of Finance & Dean (IR) Indian Institute of Finance (www.iif.edu) and Executive Editor, Finance India (www.financeindia.org). The Webinar was attended by over 49 global participants from USA, Africa, UAE, India and others.
Prof. Lodha said Corona Virus is a blessing for us which teaches us to come out of materialistic life and give the first priority to our health and environment; It also teaches us the way of living the life, be kind, generous and helpful towards others. Real essence of life is to be in touch with friends & relatives, help each other in our society don’t be materialistic and over ambitious instead be in your limits feels Prof. Lodha.
Achievements of life should not be materialistic but about the achievements in life towards the society. Spirituality makes you clean and good thoughts make you happy. Every human is a god who can change lives. The human attitude towards life would not change easily said Prof. Lodha.
Prof. Lodha emphasized positivity means live the present moment of life and be optimistic about the future. In coming time, way and pattern of education should be changed to provide a holistic development of students to live a better life. Happiness is way of thinking of individuals; happiness doesn’t come from money and power. Internal happiness is the key and it’s a bliss of life and thinking.
According to him, teachers and doctors are not a profession of making money instead creating a better human beings and a healthy society. Education must be made more affordable and holistic in nature. There should be a completely new perspective towards education.
At the age of 83, Prof. Lodha emotionally expressed his desire to contribute to the growth and development of youth in the society. He strongly felt and express that youth should understand that the life is not only about college degree and career instead they should know how to be happy and make others happy which provides real satisfaction in life.
The whole world can learn from India is that how to respect others, good emotions and helping natures for others said Dr. Lodha. He gave the example of Lord Buddha to explain the very nuances of life and growth in search of happiness. He also appreciated Prof. Aman Agarwal and all faculty members of Indian Institute of Finance for initiating this herculean task fo inducing positivity and the wealth of happiness through the IIF Webinar Series being hosted daily. He was very positive and hopeful of the current leadership in India to induce the right kind of growth and prosperity which Indians rightly deserved. He said India can be guru for the whole world as it is emotionally connected , spiritually live and has the sole consciousness which the world is witnessing today

Indian Institute of Finance has initiated the interactive IIF Webinar Series on “Essence of Life and Growth” with the prime objective to bring forth positivity of life based on the life experiences one has gained over 3-4 decades of personal life experiences, professional life, the nation, the economy and the world at large, having seen different colours of life based on ups and downs one has witnessed.
