Recently, Vivaldi Technologies has launched Vivaldi 2.11 with improved Pop-out video mode. The new version allows you to watch videos in a movable, resizable, floating window outside of the page where you found them. In addition, you’ll find forward and back buttons in the new pop-out, giving you the ability to skip tracks or go back to something interesting.

Also, Vivaldi browser now matches your operating system’s theme. Light or Dark mode will be set by default depending on the selected mode in your OS settings.

New F6 and Shift+F6 (to reverse) shortcuts allow you to move focus between active web pages and different elements of user interface such as bookmarks bar, tab bar and address bar. You can shift between other sub-elements as well.

This release also resolved various issues with address bar, bookmarks, casting, developers tools, extensions, history management, user profiles, settings, panels, menu and others. You will find upgraded developer tools, improved keyboard handling and full-screen tab casting.

Making Vivaldi look, feel and perform better has always been our focus. So, we made several improvements for the initial 2.11 stable release. In this minor update we resolved the issue when Vivaldi crashes if updating thumbnail for nonexisting sites, upgraded Chromium to 80.0.3987.125 to address security issues from upstream and updated translations.

We are looking at an exciting year ahead with much more on the anvil. And while we continue to improve Vivaldi for you, we would like to hear your feedback on our new version. Visit https://vivaldi.com today to download Vivaldi 2.11 and enjoy even better browsing experience!
