Bangalore, February 11, 2020: On the occasion of International Day of Women and Girls in Science, National Endeavour of Student Transformation (an Akshaya Patra initiative) in collaboration with the Centre for Society and Policy, Indian Institute of Science (IISc) organised an interactive workshop for Akshaya Patra beneficiaries on ‘’Women in Science’’.

The event was organised and facilitated under the guidance of Prof Anjula Gurtoo, the Chairperson at the Centre for Society and Policy, IISc Bangalore. Ms. Bhama Sridharan, faculty for Anubhava Science Foundation and Academic Consultant for Dream School Foundation held the workshop for over 90 beneficiaries. This programme aimed at instilling the passion for science and learning specially among the girls and enable them to move forward and achieve their dreams in the field of science.
