As the Lok Sabha election results are being counted, the BJP has gained a lead all told the seven seats in city, giving up Arvind Kejriwal’s AAP and therefore the Congress party. In seats starting from East city, North East {delhi|Delhi|Old city|city|metropolis|urban center} to South Delhi and Indian capital, all of BJP’s candidates are leading within the race.

From North East city, that may be a contest between political heavyweights, Manoj Tiwari, United Nations agency is BJP’s state unit chief is leading with Congress’s city chief and former chief minister Sheila Dikshit, trailing behind. In East city, that saw a disputed campaign between AAP’s Atishi and BJP’s Gautam Gambhir, adult male Gambhir is leading also. Punjabi singer and BJP candidate from North West city, Hans rule Hans is leading against AAP’s Gugan Singh and Congress’s Rajesh Lilothia.

From Indian capital body, BJP’s sitting leader is leading against Congress’s Ajay Maken and AAP’s Brijesh Goyal. From South city, BJP’s Ramesh Bidhuri is leading against AAP’s Raghav Chadha and boxer and Congress candidate Vijender Singh.

BJP’s city chief Manoj Tiwari has expressed confidence of the BJP winning over 350 seats.
