In May 14, 2019, the Nextt Group acquired Dolleina, a major disability service provider in New South Wales. This move follows Nextt’s sale of NexttCare in December 2018, which consolidates its movement away from aged care and into disability service specialisation.

Nextt has been a provider of in-home care for over 20 years. While its services have spanned everything from community nursing, aged care services and early intervention programs, it has built a reputation as a specialist provider for people with psycho-social disabilities and complex needs, including autism and other intellectual disabilities.

Similarly, Dolleina has been providing disability care services to clients with complex needs, including In-home direct care for persons with high level physical disability, 24-hour care for ventilated quadriplegics, and attendant Care for younger people with a disability. Its presence in the Hunter and mid-North coast has made it a leader in disability care across rural NSW.

Nextt CEO Mark Mulder comments that this strategic acquisition will allow Nextt to expand its services, as well as its geographic service areas.

“At Nextt, our vision is to help our clients get more out of life. From frontline Disability Support Workers to CEO, every member on our team is passionate about delivering on that promise. The merger with Dolleina will allow us to continue to build on what we’re good at, which is providing personalised, high-quality services to a range of clients with unique needs.”
