SSO Logistics is based in St Helens and can now provide palletised distribution of goods overnight for delivery to anywhere in the UK. As a member of United Pallet Network, the company can deliver through their partners or by using their own fleet, whichever is the best option.
This means that if you need a consignment collected from Newcastle and delivered to Cornwall the next day it will be picked up before 16.30, as long as the transport request is entered on to their system before 11.30 am. It will be delivered to most parts of the UK on a next day pallet delivery service.

The services provided by this logistics company include several options. They are able to deliver pre 10 which does exactly what it says on the tin: before 10.00 am delivery next day. AM deliveries are between 08.30 and 12.00. Timed deliveries can also be provided between 10.00 and 16.00. They also deliver on Saturdays between 08.30 and 12.00. Yet another option is to send the pallet to their St Helens warehouse, and they will then phone the end customer and deliver it when they need it.

SSO Logistics can accommodate a wide range of pallet sizes starting at 150 kg and going up through 300 kg, 600 kg, 1,000 kg and 1,200 kg. If a customer’s size is not on that list, they can phone for a quotation, because SSO Logistics also handles oversized freight.

The company started life in Warrington, but has moved to spacious new headquarters in St Helens so that it now has extensive warehouse facilities and also has dedicated container ramps for offloading containers. St Helens is ideally situated for the M6 and M62, and also for the port of Liverpool.

The company has 20,000 square feet of warehouse and storage space, which means that their customers can have goods delivered to the warehouse and then sent on to the end user when they are required, meaning that their customer never even has to see the goods.

SSO Logistics has also recently become British Retail Consortium accredited to AA grade and so can now provide all its’ services to members of the food industry who need BRC warehousing and distribution.

Furthermore, for new businesses who don’t want to tie up money in lease payments and deposits, SSO Logistics also offers a “pay as you go” scheme for warehousing and logistics which is based on the storage space used weekly, and with no commitment. So if a customer sells out of stock and is unable to replace it for a couple of weeks there is no charge.
