The much awaited Sports Competition-Zenith Inter School Sports Meet, 2019, was held in The Wisdom Tree School, Noida Extension, on 1st and 2nd May 2019, with great zeal, excitement and in a frolicsome atmosphere. The programme began with the Chairman Mr K.K Shrivastav and Principal Ms Sunita A. Shahi welcoming the esteemed gathering and emphasizing the importance of sports in a child’s life.
In the tradition reminiscent of the Olympic spirit of sportsmanship, the Zenith Inter School Sports Meet, started with flag hoisting and a brilliant torch lighting ceremony. The students solemnly took the oath administered by the School Sports captain.
Zenith Inter School Sports Meet, 2019 saw participation of the students in a range of field and track events which included 200m race, 400m race, Hurdle, Relay as well as team events such as chess and Karate. The events filled in the hearts of everyone with the spirit of sportsmanship, unity and mesmerized the audience with their energetic performances.
The program culminated with the Prize Distribution Ceremony. Delhi World Public School won the trophy for their excellent performance in various events of sports, while the 1st and 2nd runners-up were St. George and Dadri Public School.
The mission and vision of The Wisdom Tree School is to encourage students for their all-round development and it envisions to providing world class facilities to all.The Principal thanked everyone who contributed their services either directly or indirectly for the grand success of the mega event. The meet closed with the national anthem.
