Portsmouth, NH February 17, 2019 – Enventure today announced that it bagged a contract from a leading North American integrated Oil and Gas company to standardize spare parts data, optimize the overall spare parts inventory and work order management within the client’s EAM system.
Being a large company, the client has thousands of spare parts in their inventory, sourced from suppliers across the globe. The client has challenges in optimizing the MRO / spare parts inventory, identifying obsolete parts and eliminating maverick purchases – resulting in huge non-moving inventory and increased procurement costs. Supply chain managers have been facing difficulties in locating the right part from the EAM system due to mismatches in vendor specifications and part details defined in the asset BOM. As a result, purchase requisitions have been getting created for parts already available in stock, leading to large volumes of dead stock.
Enventure’s expertise in cataloguing and commodity coding of MRO parts per UNSPSC, is complemented by expertise in the EAM/CMMS systems. This enabled Enventure to provide a strategic approach to the problem, clearly differentiating themselves from the competition.
While announcing this win, CK Bharathan, VP Operations at Enventure said “Our team of ISO 8000 certified engineers and EAM/CMMS experts have helped clients across the globe optimize their inventory and to get the maximum ROI from their EAM/CMMS tools. Many companies do not realize the criticality of data quality for an efficient CMMS or EAM system, but we have always seen that the client’s ROI is excellent, for projects like these. We look forward to an ongoing relationship with this client.”
