Chester, United Kingdom, April 2019: StaffCircle announces the launch of ‘Holidays and Absences’ module to their employee engagement app. With this launch, StaffCircle is further empowering employees while reducing burdensome paperwork for managers.
StaffCircle is a web-based work platform, developed to help companies connect their workforce by streamlining communications and unifying people management processes. The platform, which can be accessed via desktop, tablet and mobile, provides desk and non-desk workers with a single platform to manage common tasks such as reading company updates, requesting holidays, and managing performance development plans.
The new holidays and absences module provides users with a self-services holiday request functionality and a personal dashboard including highlight annual leave entitled, days taken, sick days taken, and a calendar.
The module reduces the administration associated with managing the holiday approvals process by allowing line managers to:
– Set absence policies, allowances, authorisation process and restricted periods
– Define working patterns to automatically calculate entitlements
– Classify absence types such as appointments, sickness, jury service, etc
