Montreal, Canada (webnewswire) April 9, 2019 – Future Electronics, a global leading distributor of electronic components, recently celebrated the 25th anniversary of the company’s expansion into Mexico.

Future Electronics was founded in Montreal in 1968 by company President Robert Miller. It expanded into the United States in 1972, opening its first American office in Boston, Massachusetts. The company first expanded into Mexico in 1994.

Today, there are four Future offices in Mexico: one in Guadalajara in the heart of tequila country, one in the industrial center of Monterrey, one in Mexico City, the nation’s capital and one of the largest cities in the world, and one in Queretaro, the country’s fastest-growing city.

“Mexico has a very significant demand for local services, logistics solutions, supply chain and OTD,” said Mario Suarez, Future Electronics Regional Vice President, LATAM & Caribbean. “Our branches have dedicated supply chain teams to handle all the supply and logistics solutions, along with local sales teams to delight the customer and provide great service.”

Mexico is one of the largest manufacturing centers in the world after Asia, with many industrial parks located along the U.S. border and in the Mexican interior. The TAM for electronics components in Mexico is more than USD $5B.

“Future Electronics brings unique solutions to support our Mexican customers’ needs in terms of global reach, complex supply chain solutions, just- in-time delivery, and much more,” said Suarez. “I’m proud of what the teams here in our Mexico branches have accomplished, and I’m confident that Future Mexico will continue their outstanding support for manufacturers and customers, continuing our growth for next 25 years and beyond.”

Company president Robert Miller congratulated everyone at Future Mexico on the 25-year milestone, and thanked them for their dedication and outstanding service.
