Chance to Shine receives a £7903 Cheque from ARTA

ARTA’s Charity Partner “Chance to Shine” has been handed over a cheque worth £7903 on 13th February 2019 in a restaurant in London. The Charity Handover Event was organised by ARTA. The Collection commenced as soon as ARTA inaugural Grand Finale, held on 30th September 2018 at the InterContinental Hotel – The O2 London, successfully ended. ARTA, in its Grand Finale and in collaboration with its Strategic Partner ChefOnline, collected the charity for Chance to Shine. The Asian Restaurant & Takeaway Awards, ARTA, is a nationwide celebration of recognising the unsung heroes and top-notch establishment of South Asian Cuisine in the UK.
The event was organised miniature and important personnel associated to ARTA, ChefOnline and Chance to Shine were present. Chance to Shine’s Charity Ambassador and ARTA Ambassador, Former English Cricketer, Devon Malcolm, collected the charity along with Chance to Shine CEO Laura Cordingley. Among others in the event were present ARTA Founder and ChefOnline CEO, Muhammed Munim, ChefOnline Marketing Director, Mohammad Aktaruzzaman, ARTA Ambassador and Former BCA Secretary, Shahnoor Khan, ATN Bangla UK CEO, Hafiz Alam Buksh and ARTA Legal Advisor, Nabila Rafique.
Chance to Shine is a national charity in the UK, that aims to give children the opportunity to play and learn through cricket. The Charity works with schools to provide a very solid, first experience of Cricket to the children. Apart from cricket being a beneficiary rigorous exercise, children come to learn how to team-work and play fair. Chance to Shine was the Supporting Partner and Charity Partner of ARTA 2018. ARTA Founder and ChefOnline CEO, Muhammed Munim said, “ARTA exists for a purpose in the UK Curry Industry and Chance to Shine exists for a purpose in the Cricket Industry. We partnered to help support our causes. This is just a beginning and this shall continue.”
