Reims/Munich, March 04, 2019 – Yanmar Construction Equipment Europe (Yanmar CEE) has many highlights at this year´s bauma in Munich. From April 8 to April 14, the Japanese manufacturer will exhibit its whole product range at stand FN1017/2 – mini-excavators, midi-excavators, wheeled excavators, wheeled loaders and dumpers. In total, 30 machines will be exhibited on the Yanmar booth with 1260 square metres. Among them for the first time are the three new machines ViO82, ViO80-2PB and ViO23-6. Yanmar experts will inform about products and services. Also, Yanmar will have special promotions, financial offers and more surprises for their customers.
“We look forward to the bauma. The leading fair is a very good platform for presenting our innovative solutions. Technology and progress as well as quality and service are always the first priority for us”, says Andreas Hactergal, Sales and Marketing Director at Yanmar CEE.
New at the bauma: Yanmar exhibits the new midi-excavators ViO82 and ViO-2PB as well as the new mini-excavator ViO23-6 with zero offset for the first time.
The ViO82 is equipped with the new Yanmar ViPPS2i hydraulic system. The system provides the operator with enhanced ease of use by reducing the loss of hydraulic pressure, even during combined operations of arm and boom. The new electronic hydraulic pump regulator adjusts its flow rate to the engine”s performance. This means that the engine power is perfectly exploited and the machine”s performance optimised – allowing smooth and simultaneous performance in all the operations.
The ViO80-2PB stands out with an articulated boom, unique in design while increasing performance. The additional articulation of the boom improves the machine”s manoeuvrability and precision during the positioning of loads since the boom can be lifted up faster and lowered more slowly. In the upper part of the boom, a single cylinder is located reducing the weight of the excavator and raising its stability. With its lean structure, the boom offers one of the best views of all excavators in the market.
With these two additions to the range, Yanmar will be displaying the most complete product range of midi-excavators in the market. The product portfolio in the category of 8 to 12 tons now allows any user to find the equipment best suited for their business. With no or low-offset, an articulated or a standard boom – Yanmar now offers 7 models meeting the requirements of all types of applications – from construction, landscaping, earthmoving, levelling through to demolition or road construction.
Another new machine: the ViO23-6, a 2.3 tons mini-excavator with zero offset. Equipped with a variable undercarriage, the excavator offers the perfect balance between reduced power consumption, increased comfort and safety in an extremely compact machine. Thanks to its small rotation radius of only 1380 mm, operators can work in very narrow spaces, where conventional machines cannot manoeuvre – especially in urban areas.
The main topics of bauma will be digitalisation, efficiency and sustainability. The trend is going towards more sustainable machines with fewer emissions and low consumption – Yanmar contributes to it with its products and services. So, in 2017, the “-6B” mini-excavators were introduced. The range currently includes three machines with 5 to 6 tons (ViO50-6B, ViO57-6B und SV60-6B). All these machines are equipped with Yanmar engines equipped with Diesel particulate filters. With their improved environmental performance, they meet the request for lower emissions – and they comply with the European emission standards. This is especially important for the use in large cities.
