Mumbai, 1st March 2019- Mabel Chacko, a serial entrepreneur and the co-founder of Open, a neo banking platform for SMBs and start-ups, has been recognized as one of the top 20 women in fintech in India. The announcement was made at the Fintegrate Zone 2019 event held in Mumbai on 27th February.
The Women in Fintech Award (WIFA) was presented to her by Mr. Navin Surya, Chairman Emeritus, Payment Council of India and Ms. Annie Dubé, Consul General of Canada for Western India.
On being presented with the award, Ms. Chacko said, “It is a great honour to be recognized. I am elated and humbled. I would also like to congratulate the other women who I share the award with.’’
Some of the other women who received the award were Lizzie Chapman of Zest Money, Sujata Mohan of RBL Bank, Smita Agrawal of Omidyar Network.
