Academy of Pastry Arts to represent India in World Junior Pastry Cup 2019, Italy

After winning the Junior Pastry Indian Cup held in Mumbai on the 29th and 30th of September 2018, Kush Jadav and Vandana Konidala, both Academy of Pastry Arts Bangalore center team members, are on their way to Italy for the World Junior Pastry-Making Championship. The World Junior Pastry-Making Championship will be held on January 19th and 20th in Rimini Italy. Both Academy of Pastry Arts team members competing in Rimini have been mentored by Chef Mukesh Singh Rawat.

Participants in the upcoming competition will be held to the highest and strictest professional standards. The World Junior Championship is also meant to be entertaining and allows the younger generation of Pastry chefs to showcase their talents to a global audience. The theme of the upcoming World Junior Pastry-Making Championship is “Flying” and competitors will be required to capture the theme in artistic sugar and chocolate creations and in the ingredients used to make the desserts.

Speaking about the competition Chef Niklesh, Managing Director & Executive Pastry Chef, Academy of Pastry School, India said “We expect our talented team to give a strong competition to other participants many of whom will be from France and Italy, countries that have an evolved culture of baking.
