RACE 3 – (Recycling And the Circular Economy) Conference on Global Opportunities In Recycling And Circular Economy Post Coronavirus Era

June 25th, 2020, Mumbai, INDIA. Following the grand success of India’s largest Recycling Conclave – RACE 1 & RACE 2, both of which witnessed large gatherings of well over 250+ delegates, Polymerupdate and PWorld Tech have now scheduled RACE 3 – (Recycling And the Circular Economy). This will be a Virtual Conference in association with SPE (Society Of Plastic Engineers) India.

In light of the COVID 19 pandemic, we need to relook at how the world perceives plastics and must appreciate the role this miraculous commodity has played in helping fight the virus. PPE suits, face masks, surgical gloves, face shields, medical supplies, water bottles and food packaging are just some of the products which heavily depend on plastics raw material and we all know the unequivocal importance of the above mentioned products in either containing, fighting or dealing with the virus. Plastics have indeed played a key role in helping protect our world as it navigates through the COVID 19 pandemic. We have to accept that plastics are proving to be a boon during this time of extreme crisis.

While there is no doubt that plastics are a blessing during the time of the coronavirus, we cannot ignore the importance of plastics waste management. How does one regulate the disposal of the millions of face masks and surgical gloves after use? What happens to the face shields and the PPE suits after they have served their purpose? These pertinent questions will be addressed at RACE 3, India’s biggest and most credible Conference on Recycling. The aim is to educate India on how to handle plastics more responsibly and respectfully. The conference will also highlight the importance of moving from a linear to a circular economy by discussing recycling and redesigning of plastic products.

In order to help India gain a deeper understanding of what single-use plastics is and how India needs to handle products made from plastics in a more responsible manner, Polymerupdate, PWorld Tech and SPE India are together planning RACE 3, on Friday, July 17, 2020.

The theme of the conference will be – Global Opportunities In Recycling And Circular Economy Post Coronavirus Era.

Food Safety and Traceability: AgTech India’s New Focus

Food Safety and Food Traceability: AgTech India’s New Focus. With traditional agriculture in India making a historic shift to next gen technology like farm automation, Artificial Intelligence, GIS mapping, satellite imagery and big data analytics, the preference for ERP solutions is on a rise owing to the complete visibility of data and product life cycle across the entire supply chain from producer to consumer for agriculture-based businesses.
Agri Tech platforms like FarmERP have worked with companies in the past to source fresh produce directly from the farmers to the consumers an entirely digital supply chain to map all the operations. By providing the farm operators with an end to end digital and easy to use solution that covers the entire gamut of operations right from raw materials, to plantation, to harvesting, crop scheduling, scouting, processing, up until it goes for packaging and sales; ERP platforms are the future of food safety.
Food Traceability is vital to the food supply chain in order to keep a tab on the hygienic production and distribution. Traceability refers to the functions that trace the flow of foods throughout the production, processing and distribution stages. Traceability helps to locate a product at any stage within the supply chain, because of which it becomes imperative for producers to have integrated systems in order to ensure effective control of the operations to avoid any form of contamination.
Lack of visibility in sales and production cycles have been one of the major loopholes in the Fresh fruits and vegetable production industry. Mismanaged inventories result in failure to meet the ever-growing demand for fresh fruits and vegetables. This has propelled the sector to make a tectonic shift from manual supervision to digital farm management platforms like Farm ERP to manage inventories, reduce losses associated with spoilage and work on sales forecasting, procurement strategies & ensuring food traceability & safety through a digital supply chain.
FarmERP is one of the most trusted ERP software solutions implemented by global leaders in the fresh fruit & vegetable industry. It offers high levels of technological support and features that can simply curb shelf-life and inventory-related losses, which boosting profits in fresh produce businesses.
Farm ERP enables to provide traceable fresh produce to its clients & their customers through its agriculture management software with transformative technologies such as block chain, AI, ML, GIS, etc. This gives consumers the transparency of backtracking and understanding the route of their food from farm to fork.

Plant growth lamp scheme ratio, how much do you know?

Plants can only grow if photosynthesis exceeds respiration, and this critical point is called the light compensation point. For example, the light compensation point of tomato is 51.6umol/S/㎡, so the photosynthetic effective radiation must be greater than 51.6umol/S/㎡ to be effective.
LUX is the intensity perceived by the human eye and, in the case of plants, is measured by the intensity of the spectrum of photosynthetic active radiation contained in the lamp, which is called photosynthetic active radiation
Build PAR or PPF, and there is no conversion between PPF and LUX. PPFD is the strength per unit area of PPF!
Therefore, different plant light source ratio is different, its compensation point is also different, reasonable choice of hanging height and lamp light source power size can meet the plant photosynthesis the most effective cumulative dry matter!
You need to plant what plants, you can contact us to match you to develop a reasonable and effective plant growth ratio!
